Elaine Hart appointed CFO for Austin

City Manager Marc Ott has appointed Elaine Hart to be the city’s Chief Financial Officer. She has served as acting CFO since Leslie Browder retired in February. Prior to taking the City Hall post, Hart served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services for Austin Energy. She has also previously served as Director of Financial Services, Controller and Deputy City Auditor for the City of Austin.
Ott announced the appointment in a memo to Mayor and Council.
Since Hart took on the CFO post, Ann Little has been acting as Austin Energy’s Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services.
