Information gathered from the campaigns of mayoral contenders Carole Keeton Strayhorn, Brewster McCracken and Lee Leffingwell indicate that McCracken has raised the most money–nearly $237,000 since he began fundraising—but that Leffingwell has more cash on hand than either of his opponents.

Mark Nathan, Leffingwell’s consultant, said his candidate had raised about $128,000 and loaned himself another $100,000. Leffingwell has spent about $91,000 and had $136,170 as of the end of the reporting period, Nathan said.

Colin Rowan, McCracken’s consultant, said the Mayor Pro Tem has raised a total of nearly $237,000 and has nearly $102,000 cash on hand as of the end of March.

The committee doing fundraising for Strayhorn reported raising about $102,000 and having $80,555.94 on hand at the end of the reporting period.

Reports were being filed this afternoon, according to the campaign spokesmen.
