Austin Water is seeking public input as part of its cost-of-service study. The study will guide how water rates are determined, including how costs are allocated across customer classes. Beginning this week and continuing through the spring, water utility customers will have the opportunity to attend a series of meetings conducted by two different committees involved in the process. Both will be meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Waller Creek Center, 625 E. 10th St., Room 104. The Wholesale Involvement Committee (which represents wholesale customers) will meet at 9:30 a.m., and the Public Involvement Committee (representing residential, multifamily, commercial and large-volume customers) will meet at 6 p.m.
