District 4 residents are invited to a meeting this week to give the Animal Services Department feedback on how effectively it serves the community. Animal Services leadership will be on hand to answer questions and take suggestions. There are already changes coming to the department – its chief, Tawny Hammond, announced her resignation earlier this month to take an advocacy job with the Best Friends Animal Society.
