Andy Brown
Andy is the founder and managing member of Andy Brown & Associates, PLLC, an Austin, Texas – based law firm that counsels and represents companies, startups, and entrepreneurs faced with a variety of legal demands and business challenges – including trademarks, construction & real estate, employment, and general counsel needs of businesses and individuals.
Andy grew up in Austin, and learned Spanish while living in Costa Rica, Honduras, Chile, and Argentina. He graduated from Colorado College, and later from The University of Texas School of Law. He has worked extensively in Texas politics, including as a researcher for Speaker of the House Pete Laney, and most recently, as Senior Advisor to Beto O’Rourke.
Andy enjoys gardening, politics, and running around Lady Bird Lake with his family. He has a blackbelt in Taekwondo, and once received a bloody nose while sparring with a US Olympic Gold medalist.
