AUSTIN MONITOR PRIVACY POLICY

Austin Monitor provides the web application at www.austinmonitor.com (the “Website”). Your use of the Website is governed by the Terms of Use, and by your use of the Website you accept and acknowledge this privacy policy. The Capital of Texas Media Foundation owns the Austin Monitor and is not considered a third party for purposes of this policy.

1. What Personal Information We Collect

You may be asked to provide information that can be used to identify you (your “Personal Information”) when you respond to certain inquiries or choose to use certain sections of the Website. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address. 6. Social Media Features

The Website may include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, and widgets such as a “Share This” button, or interactive mini-programs that run on the Website. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on the Website. Your interactions with these features and widgets are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

California Civil Code § 1798,83 permits our visitors who are California residents to request certain information regarding their disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Membership to and use of the Website is restricted to those over the age of thirteen (13).
