A note from your editor
Friday, September 19, 2014 by Elizabeth Pagano
Hello,
I’m Liz, and I’m editor-in-chief now.
A lot of you may already be familiar with me — I’ve been writing for the Monitor (and In Fact Daily) for about four years. I’ll still be doing that, because otherwise it would look weird to spend all of my Tuesday nights at the Planning Commission. But I will also be steering the Monitor, making sure we continue to deliver the quality content you expect, and guiding our growth in a direction that keeps true to who we have always been.
Probably most importantly, Jo Clifton isn’t going anywhere (aside from her enviable vacations). Jo is going to be our Political Editor, and guru. That means she will be writing more, which is good news for everyone. It also means she will be helping me take on this new role, which is good news for me.
Though I keep a low profile, I am accessible. If there is something you’d like to see covered more often, if you have concerns, if you have tips, or if you have a recipe that you’d like to share, drop us a line at editor@austinmonitor.com.
Elizabeth Pagano (and Jo!)
