The Travis County Commissioners Court meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday in regular session. In the interest of space, we have decided not to post the entire agendas here. The County Clerk’s office posts a copy at its website.

Items of interest for Commissioners Court include:

5. Consider and take appropriate action on Travis County appointments to the Travis County Healthcare District (dba Central Health) Board of Managers. (This item may be taken into Executive Session under the Consultation with Attorney exception.)
Monitor’s Take: Commissioners have narrowed down the field to four finalists and plan to interview them in the next few weeks. Commissioners requested feedback from current board members and other stakeholders regarding qualifications for the appointees, and will review those comments.
24. Approve contract award for Refuse Collection for Travis County, IFB No. B1411-003-LD, to the lowest responsive bidder, Texas Disposal Systems.
Monitor’s Take: County put out bids for waste collection services at County facilities and received three. Texas Disposal Systems was the low bidder.
25. Consider and take appropriate action on Travis County appointment to the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) Board of Directors.(This item may be taken into Executive Session under the Consultation with Attorney exception.)
Monitor’s Take: Commissioners will decide which of four applicants they wish to interview for the CTRMA opening.
32. Receive update from County staff and URS consultants on Civil &
Family Courthouse Project and discuss the following (including but not limited to):
A.Project concept and program overview
B.Project budget update
C.Project schedule update
(Commissioner Daugherty)
Monitor’s Take:  Commissioners received a detailed update at last week’s work session and will continue to work on finalizing the project for a possible bond election later this year.
