Over the weekend, Austin Water lifted the “boil water” notice for residents of Texas Oaks South in South Austin. The utility had announced on Thursday that due to a break in a water main, residents would need to boil any water intended for consumption to kill harmful bacteria or microbes. AW has now repaired the main, and it reports that “all lab tests on water quality have come back normal, and it is no longer necessary to boil water.”
