Various city facilities and offices will be closed today in observance of Presidents Day, including City Hall and City Council offices; all branches of the Austin Public Library; city recreation facilities; arts, cultural and senior centers; museums; the Entrepreneur Center of Austin; and One Texas Center. Facilities remaining open include Zilker Botanical Garden, Austin Nature & Science Center, city golf courses, Big Stacy and Deep Eddy pools, Austin Animal Center, and the Recycling & Reuse Drop-Off Center. Collection of trash, recycling and yard trimmings will also remain on schedule. For further information about city services, call 311.
