Parkgoers interested in the future of downtown’s Wooldridge Square (the park with the big white gazebo) are invited to a stakeholder meeting held by the Austin Parks and Recreation Department and landscape architecture design firm DWG. The public will be providing feedback on design concepts and other elements of the Wooldridge Square Preliminary Plan, which aims both to improve park infrastructure and “to honor the historic integrity of the park.” The meeting will be held Thursday, Aug. 4, 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center, 600 River St.
