The Travis County Commissioners Court meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday. In the interest of space, we’ve decided not to post the entire agenda here. The County Clerk’s office hosts a copy at its website.

1. Receive comments regarding the petition for the creation of the Turners Crossing Public Improvement District in Precinct Four. (Commissioner Gómez)

Monitor’s Take: Even as the county’s efforts to create its first public improvement district have hit a City Council Member Ora Houston-sized snag, another PID comes through the pipeline. According to the backup material, the proposed Turners Crossing PID would be in far southern Travis County along State Highway 45. It’s also in the City of Austin’s extra-territorial jurisdiction which means, maybe, not so much heat from any members of Council.

2. Consider and take appropriate action on an order concerning outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County. (Judge Eckhardt)

Monitor’s Take: Some parts of the area saw a decent amount of rain on Monday and at least one iPhone weather app is forecasting more this week. Is it enough to rescind the ban on outdoor burning in unincorporated lands? Fire Marshall Anthony Callaway will reveal that cosmic truth on Tuesday morning.
