The Flood Mitigation Task Force will present its findings and recommendations this week at a forum for residents of North Central Austin hosted by City Council Member Leslie Pool. Travis County Commissioner Brigid Shea will be participating in the forum along with representatives of the city’s Watershed Protection Department. The event will take place Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Northwest Recreation Center, 2913 Northland Drive.
