The city’s Dockless Mobility Program is a work in progress. Plans for the pilot program were accelerated when LimeBike (now Lime) and Bird let their scooters loose in the city, and the Austin Transportation Department is currently working on crafting the final regulations governing dockless mobility. Now, it is holding a public forum, together with the Downtown Austin Alliance, to share the progress and collect the public’s thoughts on how it’s all been going. Scoot on over (or drive or walk, whatever) to the Community Room at Contemporary Austin’s Jones Center to share your thoughts on Thursday, Aug. 23, 7:30-9 a.m. Breakfast will be provided. There is also an online survey for those who prefer sharing opinions that way.
