Austin is on the verge of adopting a new Special Events Ordinance, but there is still time to make comments on the new rules, which were years in the making. The Austin Center for Events is set to adopt the new rules on or after Jan. 19, but comments from the public that are submitted before Jan. 19 will be considered.
