The renovations at Arkansas Bend Park are finally complete, and Travis County Parks is throwing a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the park’s official reopening. The 323-acre park on the north shore of Lake Travis boasts two new boat ramps, improved campsites, trails and an updated day use area with a playground for the kids, picnic tables, barbecue grills and restrooms. Travis County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty will be at the ceremony to make some brief remarks and welcome community members back to their park.
