Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s special holiday service goes into effect for the holiday weekends. All Capital Metro services will be reduced on Sunday, Christmas Day, and Sunday, New Year’s Day. There will be no rail service. All patrons are invited to ride Capital Metro at no charge on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. Rides will be free after 5 p.m. on all services.
