2012 Bond Election Advisory Task Force
A citizens group charged with determining what items would be included in the 2012 City of Austin bond request. They ultimately approved seven major categories of funding requests: Transportation and Mobility; Open Space and Watershed Protection; Parks and Recreation; Housing; Public Safety; Health & Human Services; Library, Museum, and Cultural Arts Facilities. Voters approved six of the seven requests, declining only to approve $78 million for affordable housing projects.
