City of Austin drought stages
The Austin Water Utility has five stages of water conservation. The baseline is “conservation stage” which allows for watering two days per week. Stage 1 also allows for two days per week, Stages 2 and 3 allow for watering one day per week and Stage 4 prohibits all outdoor watering. Separate regulations apply to commercial businesses and schools.
