A Federal program focused, according to the Federal Transit Administration’s web site, “funding major transit capital investments, including rapid rail, light rail, bus rapid transit, commuter rail, and ferries.” Program was updated through the Moving Ahead For Progress in the 21st Century Act in 2012.
