Deep Eddy closes for maintenance
Monday, February 8, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
Deep Eddy Pool will be closed for two weeks, beginning today, for annual cleaning and maintenance. According to an announcement from the city, the “Parks and Recreation Department will be completing work such as painting the pool shell, planting new trees and making repairs to the bathhouse and auxiliary storage buildings.” If everything goes according to plan, the pool will reopen on Monday, Feb. 22, at 9 a.m. Until then, the city recommends that swimmers consider several alternative pools such as Barton Springs, Stacy Pool, Bartholomew Pool or Springwoods Pool.
