How can the city improve Dougherty Arts Center?
Monday, July 2, 2018 by Nora Ankrum
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking input on the redevelopment of the Dougherty Arts Center, which, according to a press release from the city, “increasingly faces challenges such as lack of space, lack of technology resources, and missed opportunities to accommodate various activities.” DAC is one of the city’s oldest community arts centers and, according to the city’s website, is “among the Parks and Recreation Department’s top revenue sites.” The survey, available here, will be open until July 25, and the results will be shared at an open house in the fall.
