Look at these healthy people!
Thursday, September 28, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
Austin Public Health recently asked residents to participate in its “What Makes You Healthy” contest by taking photos of themselves participating in healthy activities around the city. It’s part of the Show Us Your Austin initiative, a monthly photo contest aimed at engaging the community. From a field of bluebonnets to Bull Creek, Austinites obliged with hundreds of submissions. Now that the department has had a chance to review all of the entries, it has announced its 10 winners, which you can view on the initiative’s Facebook page here. And the fun doesn’t have to end here. In a Wednesday press release, the department said, “We are encouraging people to continue posting pictures on what makes them healthy to any social media platform using the hashtag #ShowUsYourAustin.”
